One of our favorite aspects to our place is the backyard and of course the inflatable kiddie pool is a must with our Manitoba summers of heat & humidity! So here's a few shots of the kids enjoying the backyard pool!

I'm not convinced the hat is a great fashion choice but it kept the sun off his head.

The pantry at the Star Lake cottage has this cool glass door that I discovered the girls playing in when they were supposed to be getting ready for bed. It just so happened there was some cool light shining into the cottage from the sun setting & it just illuminated the girls well - so a little artsy but I think the results are cool!

Lots of great kid shots -- looks like you guys are really embracing summer.
Thanx - we're trying to take advantage of the holidays I get. Just got back from good ol' Grand Forks - pretty sweet waterpark there at the Canad Inn - the Canadians basically take over that town in the summer it seems.
These are so awesome! I saw the pantry door shots on facebook and thought they were looking out a rain-streaked window at first.
And that picture of Chels with Zach, she looks soo grown up for some reason . . . maybe the jersey?
You have such great subjects to work with - so beautiful and expressive.
That last shot to me embodies summer - all the heat and light and joy of it! It communicates a whole season in one frame . . .
