Ironically - I drove 7+ hours from the middle of nowhere, saskatchewan to get home on Sunday for our family escape to Star Lake - near West Hawk in the Whiteshell. I had a speaking engagement in Caronport at Briercrest College for a youth event of around 600+ youth & 100+ youthleaders from Fri till Sun. But I didn't want to miss out on some quality family time so I drove all the way home to Steinbach and then to the Whiteshell. Thankfully - we stayed till Tuesday afternoon so I still had some semblance of a long weekend. The weather was kind of crappy though but apparently storms bring about amazing sunsets!
Thanks - Chels & Aims are full of energy but very loving too! We definitely feel blessed to have them in our family and are looking forward to seeing who they will become! Determination, natural curiosity for adventure, love of the outdoors, and independence seem to mark them both.
